Sharat Priya is a Senior Manager in the Wealth and Asset Management Technology practice at Ernst & Young (EY) in the United States and a seasoned technology leader with over 22 years of progressive experience in financial platform engineering, digital transformation, and product architecture. He advises global banks, custodians, broker-dealers, RIAs, and fintech firms on platform modernization, AI-enabled advisory systems, and large-scale enterprise implementations across banking and capital markets.

He began his professional journey after earning a Master’s degree in Computer Science from MNNIT Allahabad, UP, India. His early career as a technical and engineering lead involved building trading platforms, integrating market data and pricing engines, and optimizing portfolio management systems while ensuring alignment with regulatory and operational frameworks.

Over the past decade, Sharat has held senior leadership and product architecture roles, including serving as a Product Architect at InvestCloud, where he designed next-generation wealth platforms. He has led cross-functional teams in delivering mission-critical solutions such as tax-efficient rebalancing engines, fractional share trading platforms, trade correction and portfolio performance systems, dynamic glidepath frameworks, mutual fund trading and income processing solutions, multi-currency gain/loss engines, and custodian integrations. His work has measurably elevated advisor productivity, enhanced operational precision, and materially strengthened clients’ competitive advantage within complex, highly regulated financial markets.

Beyond platform delivery, Sharat actively contributes to strategic evaluations, architecture governance, and industry advancement. He participates in technology assessments, serves as an external judge for industry innovation programs, mentors product leaders and architects, and authors thought leadership on platform design and financial technology innovation. His work consistently bridges business vision with engineering rigor, advancing scalable, resilient systems that power modern wealth and asset management ecosystems.
