Abstract

Efficient query routing and secure search are critical challenges in unstructured peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, where nodes dynamically join and leave the network. This paper proposes a novel approach to address these challenges by integrating efficient query routing mechanisms with robust security measures. The proposed system leverages distributed indexing techniques to optimize query routing, ensuring rapid and accurate retrieval of relevant information. Additionally, advanced cryptographic protocols are employed to maintain data confidentiality and integrity during search operations, thereby enhancing the overall security of the network. Experimental results demonstrate significant improvements in query response time and security efficacy compared to traditional approaches. This research contributes to advancing the capabilities of unstructured P2P networks in handling efficient and secure information retrieval.
